How to install Hyper-v role in Windows 10 OS.

Step by step install, enable Hyper-V role in Windows 10 OS.

Hyper-V is role in windows which allows you to run multiple operating systems  within on instance of Windows.

In order to use Hyper -v, Virtualization has be enabled in BIOS.

Prerequisites for Hyper-V Installation:

Windows 10 Editions:  1) Windows 10 Enterprise
                                                  2) Windows 10 Professional

               3) Windows 10 Education

Minimum RAM : 4GB
Processor          : 64Bit
Virtualization  : Virtualization must be enabled in BIOS.

Installation Steps:

Step 1: Enable Virtualization in BIOS

Note: Different model has different setting. 

 

Step 2: Go to control panel and Turn Windows features on or off

Step 3: Select Hyper-V →Click Ok

Step 4: Restart

Step 4: Now you will be able to see Hyper-V manager in Start Menu under Windows Management tools.

Click Hyper-V manager to open Hyper-V console
